Greg – Vocals
A staple of the Illawarra music scene, Greg has the ability to put out the passion of Sting in one song, and the power of Bon Scott the next.
Matt – Guitar and Vocals
Matt has enjoyed playing in various settings from the back of trucks, in pubs and at the local servo in Richmond (while serving customers with a full band). Over the years he has done his share of gigs, busking and teaching.Matt currently lives in the Southern Highlands and named his son after a guitar. Influences range from Satriani to Robert Johnson. The man loves the guitar!
Peter – Guitar and Vocals
This man would play for eight hours straight if he could, which is why he’s played with some serious outfits over the years including lead guitarist for the iconic Lime Spiders; and supporting USA band The Black Crowes’ on their Australian tour in the early 90s. Peter cut his rock teeth during the late 80′s in Sydney’s inner city playing venues including The Hopetoun (Surry Hills), The Annandale (Annandale), Selinas (Coogee Bay) and The Sandringham (Newtown) hotels. Influenced by the post punk era, Peter played in several “3 piece” originals outfits enjoying moderate success. Now in a 6 piece band he says “I love these guys, we all just click” and “the pub rock sound is great”. Peter notes his main influences as Ace Frehley, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix.
David – Bass
Dave has come a long way since the formation of his first band ‘Death Wish’ at age 12- where he played electric drums and co-wrote the undiscovered hit ‘Bandana Blues’. He’s been plucking on an acoustic for 10+ years but has recently tried his plectrum on the Bass and is loving it.
With an appreciation of Bass riffs from bands like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age and Faith No More, Dave keeps the rest of the band looking old but feeling young.
Bill – Drums
Bill has been a part of the local music scene since 1984.
He has played in some of Wollongong’s most iconic bands and some of its most legendary venues and lists Corrimal Leagues and the Patch as his favourites.
Dave – Keyboards
Pounding the keys since the 80s, David has had a varied history including some session work with Sydney-based Lazy Susan on the Long Lost album, three independent electronica pieces for a USA collaborative project , a vocal debut on Norwegian outfit Nood’s Shaped Like a Taco and even a maraca-playing cameo at the Sydney gig on Tom Robinson’s last Australian tour.
David also co-founded the ‘Face of Friendship‘ project in late 2004 after the tsunami disaster in Asia. Over a period of 72 hours, musicians from around the world wrote and recorded a song for sale to raise money for disaster relief. You can hear the result here.
